Welcome to the first newsletter of the year!
Happy New Year, Friend! If you made it this far, remember you are one of the privileged ones. We have so much to be thankful for being right here, where we get the opportunity to decide what we will write into our lives and what greatness we will pull from the deep well within us.
No matter how your past year had been, whether it was a tough, challenging year or one that had carved unforgettable memories into your life, remember that you are enough.
There are always areas we can improve as we continue on this journey. There are also events, issues, and people we know we should leave behind. This year, we are moving forth with a fortified tool kit of experiences. What good are lessons if we don’t learn from them? Just because we have always done life a certain way does not mean it must continue to be so.
I don’t know about you, but I intend to laugh more this year because I strongly believe humor opens up a way to make sense of the surrounding chaos. There is no way we can change the past, but we possess the power to create the brightest possible future there is—our own personalized version, of course. Even though everything may not be good, we can choose to see the good in everything.
I sincerely hope my words continue to speak to your heart, and it is my greatest desire that they provide encouragement, motivation, and a sprinkle of magic to your world no matter where you are on this journey.
I wish this year will be your happiest yet. I stand rejoicing that you will continue to anticipate new beginnings and all the excitement that comes with a fresh start.
Remember to shine brightly wherever you are.
Here are this week’s stories to add some sparkle to your day. ENJOY!

Fortunately, life does not require us to know what to do every time. We don’t always need to have the correct answer because most of the time, there isn’t one. When we are up against a wall, sometimes we need to rely upon blind faith. We need to remind ourselves how we got out of many tight situations in the past, and this time it’s no different.
A short-form prose poem: There is truly no such thing as endings because every ending is really a new beginning.
Whichever areas you choose to prioritize, you are sacrificing others. Where you invest most of your time will provide you with the best returns. The question to ask is which areas are you willing to sacrifice to get what you want.
A short-form prose poem reminder for us to not take life for granted, learning to value things and people before they are gone.

A prose poem: A memory becomes a moment that lives on forever.
A prose poem about the illusion of waiting for the right moment, the opportune time, the perfect occasion. As we do, time continues to flow by.
